    It's vegan, gluten-free, high in protein and said to be more sustainable than soy - if only the last undiscovered legume had a little more flavour to it I had not heard of lupin before this week, and not eaten it until Monday. Given the context of this column, and the absurdity of the foods that occupy it, this is unsurprising.
